🧴 How to Wash Your 100% Human Hair Wig or Topper

To help minimize tangling, dryness, and shedding, we recommend following these steps when washing your 100% human hair wig or topper:

1. Gently detangle the hair
Before washing, gently comb through the hair with a wide-tooth comb. Start from the ends and slowly work your way upward. Avoid pulling on the roots, lace, or hair knots.

2. Wet the hair with lukewarm or cool water
Use lukewarm or cool water and avoid very hot water. Let the water flow in the same direction as the hair. Do not rub or bunch the hair together.

3. Use a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo
We recommend a moisturizing, sulfate-free shampoo. Apply a small amount of shampoo and gently cleanse the hair.

Please do not rub or scrub the lace, roots, or top area.

4. Rinse thoroughly
Rinse the hair gently in the direction of the hair until all shampoo has been completely removed.

5. Apply conditioner
Apply conditioner mainly from the mid-lengths to the ends. Leave it on for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Try to avoid applying a large amount of conditioner directly to the lace or roots.

6. Gently remove excess water
Do not rub the hair with a towel. Instead, gently press or pat the hair with a towel to absorb excess water.

7. Air-dry or blow-dry on a low setting
You can let the wig or topper air-dry naturally. If you use a blow dryer, use a low-heat setting and keep the dryer at a safe distance from the hair.

Once the hair is partially dry, you can gently comb through it if needed.

⏰ How Often Should You Wash It?

For regular wear, we generally recommend washing and conditioning your wig or topper about every 3–4 weeks.

If you sweat frequently, use a lot of styling products, or notice that the hair has become oily or dirty, you can wash it sooner as needed.
